- 18 Holes of Putting on putting green. Card to be marked. 15:30 start
- 3 hole competition same card as above to be marked on player B. 1 st Hole, 2 nd tee to temporary practice green and 3 rd Hole. To be played after Juvenile Girls have all Teed off
- Maximum 10 shots. When 10 shots are taken and ball not in hole, 11 must be marked on score card. Best 8 round totals
- Played weekly from 4 th June until 27 th August. 50p entry paid at Pro-Shop.

County Armagh Junior GIRLS' Section presented a cheque for £236 to Lynne Robinson representative for the Neo Natal Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital.
The money was collected when the girls held a raffle at their coffee morning held in the club on Saturday 23 rd April. Also included in the photograph are Mrs Una Cullinane (Lady Captain at CAGC), Mrs Maura McCreesh (Junior Girls' Convenor) and Mrs Margaret Gordon (who works very closely with the girls).

HE came within a shot of winning the April Medal, but a month later the much sought after club silverware was secured. David Leeman's excellent nett 63 won the May Medal competition at County Armagh.
In contrasting conditions to the wet and blustery conditions of the previous day, sunshine and warm breezes brought a number of exceptional scores in this second Medal event of the season. But none better than David's.

SMALL in stature he may be, but Davy Spratt likes to win big!
His victory in the Bankers Cup was a colossal four shots better than all of his fellow competitors.
And his nett 63 winning score in the Francis Curley Solicitors sponsored competition was all the more impressive being achieved in miserable, wet and windy conditions.

FOUR local golfers are set to embark on the Longest Day Golf Challenge to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Marty Daly, Damien Smyth, Patrick Brannigan and Declan Quinn will each play four rounds of golf in one day on June 23 rd .
County Armagh Golf Club have generously agreed to host the charity fundraiser which will see the fourball starting at 5am, play 72 holes, covering 25 miles and recording around 300 shots each.
Golfing Heroes Marty Daly, Patrick Brannigan, Damien Smyth and Declan Quinn will play the Longest Day Golf Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, at County Armagh Golf Club on June 23rd.

Thursday's competition was the Eileen Steenson Memorial Greensomes played in memory of a much-loved former Lady Captain. Eileen would have appreciated the wonderful spirit in which this competition was played and as Past Lady Captain Margaret said in her winner's speech the draw for partners had brought together many new pairings and given the ladies the opportunity to forge new friendships.

83 ladies, including a number of visitors, played in this year's Spring Open. Rene Calvert was well clear of the field with a magnificent score of 42 points. Lila's Fashions of Scotch Street, Armagh once again sponsored this competition and we are very grateful to Mark Hawthorne who presented the prizes for his very generous support.

A NUMBER of County Armagh Golf Club teams have been in action in recent weeks.
The Jimmy Bruen and Pierce Purcell teams where each involved in Qualifiying events at Loughgall and Mannan Castle, respectively. Unfortunately neither made the grade. Competitions Convenor and Pierce Purcell team captain Declan McReynolds saw his men narrowly fail to qualify – by 6 shots – at Mannan.In the alternative shots competition, the pairs representing the club were Gary Baird and Ian Millar, Seamus Toner and Eamon O’Hagan, Paul Wasson and Nelson Weir, Tommy Mackin and Brendan McKinney and Keith Stewart and Gary Livingstone.
