AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Sixty ladies played in the Ian Donaldson Stableford competition and despite the unfavourable weather on the last day of June there were some wonderful scores.

Eileen Fitzsimmons continued her excellent form to return a card with 45 points closely followed by her good friend Bernie Rice on 44 points. In third place came Hilary Johnston on 38 points.

Category A was won by Mary Black with 36 points, Category B by Vera Ellingham 35 points, Category C by Sylvia Ashe 34 points and Category D by Joy Steenson with 37 points.

Nicola Spence had the best Front 9 with 20 points and Sheila Hughes the best Back 9 with 18 points.
