PADDY Darragh produced his best ever round of golf at County Armagh to win the magnificent Lonsdale Cup.
The prized silverware is one of the local club's oldest trophies and was presented to Paddy by competition sponsor Brian McCormack from Armagh City Hotel and Club Captain Martin Oliver.
A delighted Paddy lit up the clubhouse as his nett 63 was announced as the winning score in the Open Stroke event.

Included also are runners up, Colm Shannon, John Vernon, Philip Kelly, Kieran Grimley, Michael Cullen and Gary Lappin.
However, winning was certainly not in the thoughts of the 15-handicapper when he kicked off his round with a double-bogey. But six over after nine, it was an impressive two over back nine which deservedly earned Paddy the coveted prize.
John Vernon was just a shot behind – the 10-handicaper's nett 64 achieved with a two over front nine – including birdies at the 1st and 3 rd holes - and a two over back nine.
Andrew McTaggart's nett 67 won third prize – claiming it on countback from three others who also returned nett 67 scores - Michael Cullen (10), Kieran Grimley (13) and Gary Lappin (11) respectively collecting 4 th , 5 th and 6 th .
And Colm Shannon was a delighted recipient of the final nett prize with a 68 score.
The Best Gross Prizes were won by Philip Kelly (2) and Neil Cromwell, each returning gross 73 scores.
