SEVEN years ago Eric Hamilton was merrily presenting prizes at his Captain's Day. But last week-end he was on the receiving end of the prizes at County Armagh Golf Club - as the big winner in Martin Oliver's Captain's Day.
The 2009 Captain returned a magnificent nett 60 score to win the 2016 Captain's prize – a beautiful new motor caddy.
Eric's impressive score was three shots better than all of the 300-plus golfers who took to the city course over two days. Patrick Quinn was runner up - a distant three shots behind Eric with an equally impressive nett 63 score.

ANDREW Clarke had a smile as broad as the first fairway at County Armagh after winning the Webster Cup.
The 13 handicapper carded a gross 78 to lift the coveted trophy, played for annually by the club’s 10-18 handicappers in a scratch competition.
Andrew Clarke is presented with the Webster Cup by County Armagh Golf Club Captain Martin Oliver. Paddy Burns collected the Best Nett score prize.

LEE Stewart got his Woods Cup competition round off to a flying start with three birdies from the first four holes at County Armagh.
The 7-handicapper drilled birdies at the 1st, 3rd and 4th holes on his way to a winning gross 72 score in the scratch competition for 6-9 handicappers.
