Spring Open Stableford Competition

Fifty-three ladies played in the Spring Open at County Armagh Golf Club on Monday 9 May, the 13th year the competition had been generously sponsored by Lila’s.  Alongside the ladies from Co Armagh there were six visitors competing for the much coveted cup and prizes.

Forty-nine ladies competed in the Sinton Cup qualifier stroke competition on 5 May at Co Armagh Golf Club.

The two best gross and net score golfers qualified for the match-play competition to find the eventual winner of the Sinton Cup.

Fifty-one ladies played in the first Medal competition of the year at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 28 April 2022. 

Welcoming everyone to prize giving, Lady Captain Mrs Karen Edgar congratulated Lily McMullan, Denise Murphy and Gail Steed on taking the runner-up place in the Ulster Branch’s Senior Woman’s Golf Society’s scramble which took place in Edenmore on 26 April.

ARMAGH GC Men - Team Notes

With wins already secured against Cloverhill and Royal County Down the Barton Shield team faces off against old rivals Banbridge on Sunday with a place in the quarter-finals of the Ulster South section up for grabs.

Elsewhere teams haven’t been so lucky with the Ulster Fourball, Ulster Cup, Jimmy Bruen, Rossmore Cup and Senior Cup teams all bowing out recently.
