Fifty ladies competed in the July Medal on 30 June, which was very generously sponsored by McKinney Timber, represented by fellow lady golfer, Mrs Cait McKinney.
Mrs Karen Edgar, Lady Captain, welcomed Cait McKinney and thanked her and her family at McKinney Timber for their support and the beautiful array of prizes.
Patricia Hughes took the honours with a fantastic nett 63 points and Eileen Fitzsimmons was second with another super score of nett 66.
The gross was won by Paula McCrory with 81. Anne O’Reilly was third with nett 70, beating Michelle Kinane, Gail Steed, Helen McLaughlin on the countback.

Mary McElvanna won the front 9 with nett 32 and Hilary Johnston won the back 9 with nett 34.
Nineteen ladies played in the 9 hole competition which was won by Anne Black with 23 pts and Marie Corrigan was second with 20 pts.
There were birdies at the 8th for June Humphries and the 16th for Colette McSorley.
Twos were recorded at the 3rd by Colette McSorley, Barbara Gartland and LVC Lily McMullan and at the 7th for Rea Haughey, Eileen Fitzsimmons and Mary McElvanna.
A draw for the Charlemont Salver matchplay was conducted at the end of prizegiving which resulted in the following matches:
