To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Day, the Lady Captain Anne McDonald encouraged the ladies to play in pink on Thursday 21st October. The ladies duly obliged and the prizes were awarded not on scores but originality of outfits as evidenced by photos taken on the day.

Overcast skies and scattered heavy showers threatened to put paid to the competition for another week, however 39 ladies participated in the 18-hole event and a further 19 played in the 9-hole competition. The annual McAnerney’s Open Stableford competition eventually took place after a weather postponement from the original fixture. Overcast skies and scattered heavy showers threatened to put paid to the competition for another week, however 53 ladies, including 6 visitors participated in the 18 hole event which raises funds annually for a variety of Cancer charities.
