Juvenile golfer Aoife Lennon has again beaten off stiff competition to win this week's competition,which was very kindly sponsored by Billy Nellins (Sports Therapist) who came and presented the prizes.

Lady Captain Irene thanked him for his support of the Ladies Branch.

Aoife's winning score of 39 points, beat Hilary Johnston also with 39 points on the countback. Also in close contention was Rita Grimley with 38 points.

Noel Conn & Co. very generously sponsored the Margaret Deane Mixed Greensomes again this year. After a very wet day the evening cleared up and everyone enjoyed a dry round of golf. Conditions weren't too bad and good scores were recorded. The winners were John Lowe and Pauline Vallely who had a net 61.
