AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

COUNTY Armagh Golf Club has won the Mid-Ulster Senior Alliance League championship for the first time since it began 17 years ago.

Launched by Co. Armagh Past Captain and Past President Jack Moore, the Mid-Ulster Senior Alliance title is played for annually by 10 local teams of 60-plus aged golfers.

Richard Smyth captained the County Armagh team to victory on the final day of the championship at Warrenpoint, where their winning performance clinched the coveted trophy by two points from last year's winners Lurgan.
