ALAN Wilson kicked off his July holidays by winning the Complete Living Solutions sponsored stroke competition at County Armagh.

The 12-handicapper recorded a nett 65 to claim the prize by one shot – from 14-handicapper Eamon O’Hagan.

Complete Livings Solutions proprietor Damien Smyth presents Lee Campbell with his category prize in the annual stroke competition at County Armagh which is sponsored by the Armagh company. Included is Club Captain Martin Oliver and other category winners.

DWAYNE Houston collected his first ever Medal win at County Armagh returning an impressive nett 64 for the prize.

Steady scoring throughout secured the victory ahead of 9-handicapper Caolan Doyle whose nett 65 round included a birdie 2 at the 7th hole.

County Armagh Golf Club Captain Martin Oliver presents the July Medal prize to Dwayne Houston. Looking on are Category prize-winners Sean T Dougan and Nigel McMahon.

IAN Millar was two points better than the rest of the field in the Sunday Stableford at County Armagh - the 12-handicapper’s 41 points proving untouchable.

A birdie 3 at the par four 4th hole saw him on his way to 21 points by the turn. And with a further 20 points added from a steady scoring back nine he was never going to be caught.

Kyle Wilson (7) was the best of the rest returning 39 points – 19 and 20 on front and back nines respectively for the runners up prize.

DESPITE  a ‘no-score' at the 10 th hole, Stephen McGarvey's 41 points was still the best on the day in the recent Alexander Mills sponsored stableford competition at County Armagh.

Apart from that unfortunate blip, it was steady scoring both front (21 points) and back nine (20 points) which clinched the top prize for Stephen (18).
