This weeks Competition was very generously sponsored by Professional Travel Armagh & Dungannon. It was well supported by the ladies and was won by Phil McKenna who narrowly beat Nicola Spence by one point. Phil had 37 points and goes on to play with the Lady Captain in Masserene later on in the year.

The senior's competition will commence on Wed 16th April 14 and will run for 12 Wednesdays it will be a stableford competition of the Green Markers.

Prizes: 1st - 3rd each week numbers permitting.

Format: Each week the top 16 players will be awarded points as follows 1st - 16points 2nd 15 points etc.etc with 16th place -1 point at the end of the 12 weeks the top 30 players will be eligible to play off for The Pat Russell Memorial Trophy.

The play off will be over 36 holes and the winner will be the player with the highest total stableford points.

To facilitate holidays during July and August the play off will not take place until September.

There will be prizes for 1st - 3rd each week of the play off.

Entry fee £3.00 each week.

Prizes for the Spring League were awarded on Thursday night. The winning team was ‘Teresa's Trilbys'. In second place were the ‘Hardy Annuals'. Unfortunately due to the inclement weather the competition was not as well supported this year.

Another wet day for the ladies of County Armagh who were playing for the PGA Tankard. The competition was kindly sponsored by Alan Rankin (Club Professional). The weather reflected lower scores this week, but some determination won through, namely in Lynn Brown who was defending her title from last year, she reclaimed it by beating Paula McCrory on the back 9 with 37 points!

On Thursday past 39 ladies played in the Waltzer Competition. Conditions were tough enough as the afternoon proved quite stormy. However two groups of ladies were able to battle the elements and return good scores.
