Women - News & Results
Fifty-five ladies competed in the Club Stroke at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 1 August which was generously sponsored by Seven Hills Restaurant. A further 18 ladies played in the 9-hole competition. Lady Captain, Mrs Moya Brady welcomed Lisa, Seven Hills Restaurant, to prizegiving and thanked her for their continued support.

It was a beautiful summer evening on Friday 26 July for those competing in the annual Margaret Deane Mixed Greensomes competition, which had once again been very generously sponsored by Noel Conn & Co Accountants.
Welcoming everyone to prize giving Lady Captain, Mrs Moya Brady thanked Noel Conn, Noel Conn & Co Accountants for his continued support of the competition which raised money for the RNLI charity.

Fifty-six ladies played in the Club Stableford competition generously sponsored by Jeff Walbran, Specsavers, on Thursday 25 July at Co Armagh.
The competition standard scratch was 70.
Mrs Moya Brady, Lady Captain welcomed a large number of ladies to prize-giving and explained that unfortunately the sponsor was unable to be present as he was on holidays. Fellow golfer Gail Steed was on hand as the sponsor's representative to present the prizes.
Karen Edgar won first place wth a fantastic 44 pts, 6 points clear of Aoife Lennon's 38 pts for second. Eileen Fitzsimons came third, also with 38 pts.

Fifty-two ladies competed in the prestigious Ellie Mayne Cup competition on 4 July. Once again very generously sponsored by Hewitt Meats the competition was played as stroke rather than the traditional stableford format. The competition standard scratch was 70.

Co Armagh Golf Club's Lady Captain's Day took place on Saturday 22 June when ladies competed in glorious sunshine and with perfect golfing conditions for an array of beautiful prizes chosen by Lady Captain Moya. Thanks to the Greens Convenor, Greens-Staff and volunteers the course was in excellent condition and whilst it proved incredibly challenging for many, evident in the competition standard scratch of 73, the winner of the Lady Captain's prize, Bernie Rice had no such difficulties.

The annual Marie Curie Classic took place on Thursday 26 June, a few weeks later than planned due to the course having been closed on the day it was originally scheduled and, in stark contrast to that day, the weather was glorious. The competition was once again sponsored by Rice's Supermarket, Keady, who have been associated with the charity for many years.
