Following on from Jerome Leer's victory in 2018, Brian McGuigan is the latest County Armagh Golf Club member to add his name to the list of Half-Century Cup champions.
Brian McGuigan is presented with the Half-Century Cup by County Armagh Golf Club Vice-Captain, Declan McReynolds.
The annual tournament for players whose 50th birthday has been and gone was contested on 30 June, when McGuigan drew on his vast wealth of golfing experience to card an outstanding gross 74.
County Armagh Golf Club's over-65s competed once again for the Mayne Cup on 30 June, when the venerable standings were headed by Roy Turner.
The story of the winning round was something of a page-Turner, especially an outward nine that was skimmed through in just 34 strokes. Textbook, level-par golf.
County Armagh Golf Club Vice Captain, Declan McReynolds, awarded the Mayne Cup to 40-point winner, Roy Turner.
With County Armagh Golf Club's Allen Cup once again generously supported by JR McMahon Menswear, Neil Linton turned in a debonair display to post a wonderful winning score of nett 65.

As our last remaining hope on the men's inter-club matchplay scene of 2019, the Senior Cowdy Cup crew will soon carry the CAGC torch into the tournament's semi-finals.
A last-four meeting with near neighbours Portadown, which is to be completed by the end of August, was brought about by a resounding third-round rout of Banbridge.

As a popular and hardworking figure at County Armagh Golf Club since 1975, Gerry McCreesh's selection as Club President last year was a well-deserved one.
And 27 July 2019 represented the showpiece date of that 24-month tenure as CAGC hosted its biennial President's Day, when Gerry's main award was claimed by Rory Smyth after a fabulous 39-point round.
President’s Day Champion 2019, Rory Smyth, was presented with his prizes by County Armagh Golf Club President, Gerry McCreesh, and his wife, Maura.
