The annual Armaghdale Cup Ladies Open Stroke was held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Saturday 7 September 2024.
Whilst the competition was played with preferred lies the sun shone all day for the seventy-two ladies, including twenty-one visitors from Banbridge, City of Derry, Dungannon, Greenore and Tandragee who took part. The competition was once again very generously sponsored by Gerard Davidson, T/A Business Account Services, represented by Lady Vice Captain Frances Davidson.
Lady Captain Ellen Brady expressed sincere thanks to Gerard Davidson, T/A Business Account Services for the continued and generous sponsorship of the competition and invited Lady Vice Captain Frances Davidson to present the prizes.
Michelle Kinane won the competition and the Cup, with nett 70 and Karen Edgar was second with nett 71. Julie McCarten won the gross prize with gross 83.

A further 10 ladies entered the 9-hole competition which was won by Anne O’Hea with 17 pts.
Julie McCarten was nearest the pin at the 7th and Maggie McKee had the longest drive at the 17th.
There were birdies for Karen Curran at the 12th and Michelle Kinane at the 17th.
Twos were recorded at the 3rd by Helen Forster, at the 3rd and 18th by Jayne Henry and at the 18th by Dolores Hamill.
