Fifty-three played in the annual McAnerney’s Charity Open Stableford Competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 12 September 2024.
Once again this very popular and well supported day and competition was very generously sponsored by McAnerney’s Supermarket, Armagh and Mrs Catherine McAnerney hosted a coffee morning with proceeds going to Southern Area Hospice Service.
A fantastic £1,592.50 was raised for Southern Area Hospice Services, with a further £485 raised for Brain Tumour Research.

A further 17 entered the 9 hole competition which was won by Anne Cairns with 22 pts. Anne O’Hea was second with 21 pts.
There were twos for Paula McCrory at the 3rd, Helen Forster at the 7th and Colette McAleavey at the 18th and birdies for Siobhan Donnelly at the 1st, Maggie Donnelly at the 8th, Paula McCrory at the 16th and Gillian Poole at the 17th.
Mrs Catherine McAnerney presented the prizes and thanked all those who had contributed to the two charities.
