Forty-three ladies competed in the June Medal which was played at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 13 June.
Lena Duffy won the competition with a fantastic nett 62, four clear of Maggie McKee’s nett 66. Colette McAleavey was third with nett 68.
The category winners were:
Cat A Mary Black nett 72
Cat B Anne Kinsella nett 70
Cat C Gillian Poole nett 70
Cat D Marie Tennyson nett 70
Theresa Campbell won the front back 9 with nett 32 and Teresa McVeigh won the back 9 with nett 33.
9 Hole Competition
A further seven ladies played in the 9 hole competition which was won by Fionnuala Quinn with 20 pts.
Beginner’s 9 Hole Competition
Gillian Wright won the 9 hole beginners competition with 18 pts.
Birdies and Twos
Geraldine Rafferty birdied the 1st and twos were recorded at the 7th by Mary Black and Tara Grimley; at the 9th by Lady Captain Ellen Brady and by Michelle Kinane at the 7th and 11th.
