AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Twenty-four pairs competed in the annual Daisy Ferguson Greensomes qualifier competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 30 May 2024. 

The competition was very generously sponsored by Brendan Oliver, Oliver’s Fruit and Veg who had provided beautiful fruit hampers for the winners.

Lady Captain Ellen thanked Brendan for his generous sponsorship and invited him to present the prizes.

Helen and Maggie will represent Co Armagh Golf Club at Royal County Down on Thursday 27 June to compete for the Daisy Ferguson Trophy.

9 Hole Competition

A further nineteen ladies competed in the 9 hole competition, which was won by Maura McCoy with 18 points and Gladys Villiers was second with 17 pts.

Beginners 9 Hole Competition

Six ladies played in the beginners 9 hole competition which was won by Catherine Vernon with 20 pts.

Twos

There was only one two – Emma Garrigan and Michelle Kinane at the 11th.
