Lady Captain, Lily McMullan’s second event of the year was a very successful Wine Tasting evening which was held on Tuesday 21 February 2023.
The evening, hosted by Darren from JN Wines, ably assisted by Co Armagh Golf Club’s Bar Manager Neil, provided an opportunity to sample 3 white and 3 red wines already available on the bar’s wine list. The final wine sampled was one not currently available, but one Darren hoped would appeal to the audience and would be in the future.
Throughout the evening Darren provided information about each of the wines and responded to questions from the audience.
Ryan and his team at Parklands Restaurant had prepared amazing charcuterie boards. The selection of cheeses, meats, crackers, olives, chutneys, dips and fruit provided were displayed beautifully and delicious.
It was a very enjoyable evening and whilst spittoons were available, they were not in great demand!

Lady Captain Lily advised that the next event being planned is a 6 course Gourmet Night, with wines. One to watch out for and not to be missed!
