Ladies’ Open Week Results

The first of the ladies’ Open Week competitions, held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Monday 1 August, was a 3-Ball Scramble.  Twenty-four teams took part in the competition which was sponsored by Le Jardin Luxury Spa, The Linen Green, Dungannon.

Sixty-one ladies played in the second Ladies Open Competition of the week, on Thursday 4 August, the Summer Open Stableford Competition, which was sponsored by Parkland Restaurant.

A further 13 ladies entered the 9 hole competition, which was won by Theresa Campbell with 23 points.  Tish Burke was second with 20 pts.

There were birdies for Sylvia Ashe at the 1^st, Gail Steed and Mary Black at the 6^th, Paula McCrory at the 6^th and 8^th, Bernie Rice at the 12^th and Alexandra Mawhinney at the 14^th.

Both Gail Steed and Sylvia Ashe recorded twos at the 9^th.
