AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Fifty-three ladies competed in the The Peggy Nelson Stableford, held at County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 10th April, kindly sponsored by Oliver’s Fruit & Veg, Armagh.

Lady Captain Frances Davidson welcomed Brendan Oliver, Oliver’s Fruit & Veg. to prize-giving and thanked him for his extremely generous sponsorship of beautiful fruit hampers as she invited him to present the prizes.

1st Hilary Johnston 38 pts

2nd Helen Forster 38 pts

3rd Anne Kinsella 34 pts (beating Collette McAleavey on countback)

Category C (24 – 36)

1st Eilish Grimes 38 pts

2nd Karen Edgar 37 pts

3rd Joy Steenson 36 pts (beating Fionnuala Quinn and Lena Duffy on countback)

There was a two for Michelle Kinane at the 18th and birdies for both Alexandra Mawhinney and Emma Oliver at the 10th.

A further sixteen ladies played in the 9 hole competition.
