Fifty eight ladies competed in the June Medal on 22 June which was kindly sponsored by Traynor Furnishings.
Past Lady Captain Karen Edgar conducted the prize-giving. Tish Burke won the competition with nett 65, one clear of Aoife Lennon’s nett 66. The gross prize was won by Paula McCrory with gross 82, beating Lady Vice Captain Ellen Brady on the better back 9. Flo McCall was third with nett 67.
The category winners were:
Cat A – Maggie McKee nett 70
Cat B – Teresa McVeigh nett 68
Cat C – Caitlin McKinney nett 69
Cat D – Anne McDonald nett 67
Donna Carolan won the back 9 with nett 34 and Tara Grimley won the front back 9 with nett 30.
9 Hole Competition
A further twenty-four ladies played in the 9 hole competition which was won by Rea Haughey with 20 pts. Anne Cairns and Lynda Coyle were second and third respectively each with 18 pts.

Carmel Harney was the winner of the Get Into Golf prize with 66.
Birdies and Twos
There were birdies at the 2nd for Katherine Steenson, at the 12th for Lady Vice Captain Ellen Brady and at the 17th for Lady Captain Lily McMullan.
Twos were recorded at the 3rd by Anne Kinsella and at the 7th for Aoife Lennon and Helen Forster.
