The Ian Donaldson Stableford took place at Co Armagh on Thursday 6 August. Forty-nine ladies played in the 18-hole competition with a further 14 ladies entering the 9-hole competition.
The competition standard scratch was 71. Bernie McBride was first with a fantastic 41 pts. Frances Davidson was second with 37pts, one point clear of Rita Mone who took third place with 36 pts. Cat A – Paula McCrory 35 pts Cat B – Michelle Kinane 35 pts, beating Gail Steed on the countback Cat C – Sheila Hughes 35 pts Cat D – Sheila Stinson 30 pts, beating Eilish Grimes on the countback
Gail Steed won the Front 9 with 23 pts and Ellen Brady won the Back 9 with 19 pts, on a countback from Fionnuala Quinn.
Mary McElvanna won the 9 hole competition with 16 pts and Gina Morris was second with 15 pts. Lily McMullan won the weekly Time for Nine competition with 20 pts.
Brigid McEneaney recorded the only 2 at the 9th and there were birdies for Gail Steed at the 4th, Paula McCrory at the 6th, Colette McSorley at the 12th and Ellen Brady at the 18th.
The handicap cuts were Frances Davidson 18-17.2 and Bernie McBride 32-29.3.
