Communication from Club Captain, Declan McReynolds:
In anticipation of golf clubs hopefully reopening shortly, could I take this opportunity to again wish everyone well in these trying times and to set out some information that will facilitate a safe return to golf.
Initially the locker room will remain closed, so members will have to get their clubs out prior to any restart. To facilitate this, there will be controlled openings of the locker room at the following times:
• Thu 14 May, 10am-11.30am and 2pm-3pm
• Fri 15 May, 2pm-3pm • Sat 16 May 1pm-3pm
• Mon 18 May 10am-11.30am and 2pm-3pm
• Tue 18 May 10am-11.30am and 2pm-3pm
ALL MEMBERS WHO WISH TO PLAY MUST COLLECT THEIR CLUBS AND TROLLEYS PRIOR TO THE COURSE REOPENING, AS THE CLUBHOUSE HAS TO REMAIN CLOSED.
It is also widely recognised that our timesheet will need to be amended. We will send detailed information prior to our new timesheets going live. It will be vital that everyone reads the information and follows the guidelines set out.
Finally, no one will be allowed to avail of the timesheet booking system if they are not fully up to date with their membership payments at the time of the course’s reopening. To facilitate payments, the Honorary Secretary will be in the office each morning from 10am to 11.30am. He can also be contacted on tel. 02837525861.
Thanks to everyone for their support and understanding in these testing times. Hopefully, we will very soon see you all back on the fairways of County Armagh Golf Club, which I can assure you have been maintained in pristine condition by Ian and his staff.
Stay safe,
Declan.
