HE may have slipped under the radar of the handicap convenor for much of the season, but Johnny Palmer felt his full wrath when he triumphed in the penultimate qualifier at County Armagh.
His 43 points winning score in the Hewitts Meats sponsored competition brought about a two-shot handicap cut, which some would harshly say, was thoroughly deserving.
Johnny, in his own inimitable way however, was no doubt quietly smiling in celebration at adding to his winning haul for the season.

AFFABLE Art McCrory's magnificent victory in the Complete Living Solutions sponsored stableford competition at County Armagh brought both ecstasy and agony.
His untouchable 46 points score was hugely deserving of the top prize – but such was the margin of his win, a three-shot handicap reduction ensued!
County Armagh Vice Captain Marty Oliver joined Damien Smyth from Complete Living Solutions to present the prizes in front of a packed clubhouse, congratulating winners and expressing thanks to the sponsor.
