DEAN Chambers certainly enjoyed the rub of the green for an impressive win in the St Patrick's Day Open competition at County Armagh.
The club newcomer racked up a huge score of 45 points to take the first prize in the stableford event.
Philip Devlin would have expected to have topped the pile with 43 points on another day, but had to settle for the runners up prize.
In third place was Eric Hamilton whose 42 points was equalled by oft playing partner John Flack, beaten only in the back-nine countback.
