Congratulations to 2018 Club Captain, Colm Shannon, who won one of two Scotty Cameron putters in the Professional's Shop draw.
Ignoring the blandishments of members who had beguiled him into parting with a previous prize, a Ping Driver, Colm played in the shop sweep on Wednesday last, debating whether or not to put the new putter into play or to rely on his current model. This debate proved unnecessary at the 7th hole, The Quarry, where his "perfectly struck" (Ed; He insists on this description) found the hole. Although his group were unable to see the Ace from the tee, it was witnessed by Anthony Conlon who has now submitted a bid for the redundant putter.
