AN HISTORIC CLUB WITH A MAGNIFICENT GEORGIAN PARKLAND SETTING SINCE 1893

Thirty-six ladies played in the 18 hole club stableford and a further 19 ladies in the 9 hole club stableford held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 3 October 2024.

The 18 hole competition was won by Sheila Hughes with 38 pts, Tara Grimley was second with 34 pts.

The category winners were:

Cat A    Paula McCrory               34 pts

Cat B    Anne Kinsella                  34 pts

Cat C    Rene Calvert                   34 pts

Cat D    Patricia Hughes              32 pts (beating Gladys Villiers on countback)

The front nine was won by Carmel Cassidy with 18 pts (beating Past Lady Captain Lily McMullan, Anne McDonald and Sheila Stinson on countback) and the back nine by Julie McCarten with 20 pts.

The 9 hole competition was won by Audrey Kellet with 22 pts and Mary Knott was second with 18 pts (beating Catherine Vernon on countback).

There were twos for Geraldine Rafferty at the 7th and Sheila Hughes and Una Cullinane at the 18th.

Twenty-five ladies played in the 18 hole stableford and a further 25 ladies in the 9 hole stableford held at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 10 October 2024.  The competition was generously sponsored by Keegan’s Bar and Restaurant, Armagh.

The 18 hole competition winners were:

1st         Eilish Grimes                  35 pts

2nd         Anne Kinsella                  35 pts

3rd         Colette McAleavey         32 pts

4th         Patricia Hughes              32 pts

5th         Maggie McKee               30 pts (beating Valerie Gordon on countback)

The 9 hole competition winners were:

1st         Siobhan Donnelly           21 pts

2nd         Catherine Vernon           18 pts

3rd         Gladys Villiers                 18 pts

There was a two for Anne Kinsella at the 18th and Lady Captain Ellen Brady had a birdie at the 17th.
