Week One Spring League
Twenty-seven ladies played in week 1 (2nd-8th Feb) of Spring League at County Armagh Golf Club with Geraldine Rafferty coming out on top with 18 points.
Lady Captain’s Tee Ladies – 6 February 2023
Twenty-nine ladies played in the Tee Ladies competition on Monday 6 February and were joined by others for the tea, coffee and buns.
The winner was in form Geraldine Rafferty, with a fabulous 18 points in winter conditions, beating Maggie McKee on the countback.
Having been in the winning circle recently Geraldine kindly declined her prize of Hewitt Meats Roast Beef and proposed that it be raffled amongst the remaining players. The lucky winner was Vice Captain Ellen Brady.
Helen McLaughlin was the spot prize winner.
In announcements, Lady Captain Lily:
- reminded ladies of the Wine Tasting on Tuesday 21 February; and
- advised that the presentation of prizes for the weekly 9-hole January 2023 competitions would take place on Thursday 9 March.
