On 7 April 2022, Co Armagh ladies competed in the qualifying competition for the Daisy Ferguson Greensomes Trophy. The pairing of Hilary Johnston and Sylvia Ashe won the competition and qualified to represent Co Armagh Golf Club in Royal County Down (Annesley Links) on Monday 1 August.
Hilary and Sylvia were among 50 pairings from across Ulster who took part in the competition in Newcastle and they came out on top, winning the Trophy.
Fiona Delargy, Ulster Secretary Golf Ireland recently presented the Trophy and medals to Hilary and Sylvia at Co Armagh Golf Club.
