Sixty ladies competed for the prestigious Centenary Trophy at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 22 August, which was once again very generously sponsored by Sterling House Financial Services, represented by fellow-golfer and Ladies’ Branch Honorary Competition Secretary, Paula McCrory.
Extending a warm welcome to Paula McCrory, Sterling House, Mrs Moya Brady, Lady Captain, thanked her for the continued generous sponsorship of the competition.
The competition scratch score was 71.
Mary Black won the competition with nett 70. Emma Garrigan and Alexandra Mawhinney took second and third place respectively both with nett 72. Lily McMullan won the gross, with gross 81.

There was only one handicap cut for Mary Black – 16-15.3
In the absence of the competition winner, Alexandra Mawhinney thanked Paula and Stirling House for the continued sponsorship. She also took the opportunity to thank all those who had supported the Junior Cup team on Sunday 18th August when they beat Shandon Park to progress through to the ILGU Inter-Club District Finals to be played in Ballycastle on Sunday 1 September.
