On Thursday 16th March 2017 a large number of ladies played the first 18 hole competition of the season. In first place with an excellent score of 36 points was Teresa McVeigh. Second place was awarded to Moya Brady with a score of 32 points, beating Ellen Brady on a count back. Category C was won by Donna Carolan with 27points. Category B was awarded to Teresa Corrigan with 31 points and Category A was won by Lily McMullan with 29 points.

The 9 hole competition was won by Sylvia Ashe with 21 points. Colette McAleavey took the honours for the back 9 holes with a score of 15 points and Paula McCrory won the front 9 with 18 points.
