Outgoing Lady Captain Paula McCrory handed over the captain's reins to Hilary Johnston for the incoming year in packed clubhouse.
Paula wished the new Lady Captain well for her year and presented her with the captain's pin. Hilary thanked everyone for their good wishes and said she hoped the ladies would enjoy the year ahead and have a successful golfing year.
The Captain wished all all the team captains well in the year ahead and hoped the weather would improve.
The first outing of the year was a nine hole stableford competition which was won by Rene Calvert.
Mary Black was runner-up and 3rd place went to Lynn Browne.
