How to get a handicap
Stage 1
Play off the blue markers
Complete the first seven holes at Co Armagh GC.
To progress to Stage 2 you must complete the first seven holes in 50 strokes or less.
Make sure you sign and date the card.
Make sure the card is signed and dated by your playing partner.
Place in the competition box
The card will be verified by the Junior Convenor
The player will be notified via the noticeboard
Stage 2
To get an official club handicap the golfer must complete three cards of nine holes
One of those nine must include the back nine.
Make sure you sign and date the card.
Make sure the card is signed and dated by your playing partner
Place the three cards together in competition box
The cards will be verified by the Junior Convenor
The player will be notified of his handicap via the noticeboard
Which tee to play off at Co Armagh GC
Blue – Handicaps 40-28
Green – Handicap 28-18
White – 18 and below
Handicap reductions
Handicaps will be reviewed on a weekly basis during the season.
Handicaps will be adjusted following official competitions.
Players have a responsibility to notify the convenor of significant scores.
