A career-best nett 61 from Aidan Kelly earned him top spot in the Lonsdale Cup sponsored by Armagh City Hotel.
The battle for the Lonsdale always produces some good scoring but with the course in superb shape, the scoring this year was red hot. Aidan’s nines of 43/48 gave him a three-shot margin of victory over Michael Grant.
Brian McGrady claimed third with a 65 while Richard Black was fourth with a 66. Fifth, sixth and seventh places went to John White, Eamon Connolly and Ruairi Digby who all finished with 67s.
Philip Kelly fired a 70 to win the gross with Mark Loughran second following a 73. Brian Rafferty won the green marker competition with 43pts.
