County Armagh Golf Club Past Captain's and President's trophy has been won by Richard Black.
The 2015 Club Captain clinched the coveted award with combined scores from outings at Ballymascanlon Hotel and our own Armagh course. The competition has been played annually for some 15 years.
Paddy Burns, Captain of the County Armagh Golf Club Past Captain's and Past President's Group, presents the perpetual trophy to 2017 winner Richard Black.
The first outing at Ballymascanlon earlier in the year was won by Pearse McBride with 35 points. The second outing at Armagh was won by Richard Black with 42 points. And with the best overall scores from the two outings Richard - by the narrow margin of a single point over Pearse McBride – was declared winner of the perpetual trophy.
Group Captain Paddy Burns presented the trophy to Richard Black following an evening of food and wine.
