On Thursday 28 July forty-four ladies played the July Medal competition at Co Armagh Golf Club, which was generously sponsored by Jeff Walbran, Specsavers.
Sixty three ladies played for the Captain’s Prize on Thursday 21 July 2022. The weather was perfect and the course was in tip-top shape with lots of run on the ball, setting up the perfect conditions for the fabulous scores that were returned.
The annual Margaret Deane Mixed Greensomes competition was held at Co Armagh on Friday 15 July. The competition was once again very generously sponsored by Noel Conn & Company Chartered Accountants.
3-Club Fun Competition
There was a fun competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 14 July with ladies permitted to use only 3 clubs and as the results clearly testify there are some ladies for which this is all they really need!
Fifty-seven ladies competed in the Stableford competition for the Ellie Mayne Cup which was once again very generously sponsored by Hewitt Meats on 7 July 2022.
Lady Captain Karen Edgar hosted a very successful Visiting Lady Captain’s Day at Co Armagh Golf Club on Tuesday 5 July, in advance of her Captain’s Day on Saturday 30 July. The Lady Captain and Lady Vice Captain, or their representatives, from Aughnacloy, Banbridge, Edenmore, Loughgall, Lurgan, Portadown and Tandragee Golf Clubs were all in attendance.
Fifty ladies competed in the July Medal on 30 June, which was very generously sponsored by McKinney Timber, represented by fellow lady golfer, Mrs Cait McKinney.
The annual Marie Curie Classic took place on Thursday 23 June and the competition was once again very generously sponsored by Rice’s Supermarket, Keady.
