The weather was glorious on the fairways of Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 25 June 2020 when ladies competed in the Millennium Bowl and McCall Shield Stroke Competitions. The Millennium Bowl, for golfers in the 0-24 handicap range, was donated by the Lady Captain in 2000, Mrs Cecelia Woods, and the McCall shield, for those with a 25+ handicap, by Mrs Flo McCall when she was Lady Captain in 2009.
Sixty-Two ladies competed in the Eileen Steenson Memorial Competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 18 June with a further 20 ladies playing in the 9 hole competition. The competition standard scratch was 70. In the 18 hole competition Joy Steenson claimed first place with a fabulous 41 pts, beating Michelle Kinane, also with 41 pts, into second place. Mary Black was third with 40 pts. The remaining prize winners were:

Jacqueline Kelly won the Front 9 with 21 pts and Anne O’Reilly won the Back 9 also with 21 pts.
Following the easing of lockdown restrictions, competitive golf made a welcome return for the Ladies of Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 11 June. The return to golf had been eagerly awaited with a total of 97 ladies playing. Whilst not all were eligible to enter the competition, fifty-three ladies played in the 18 hole competition and a further 15 in the 9 hole competition.
Despite being a beautiful day the course was closed on Thursday 19 March due to the rain earlier in the week, so in a break from the norm, it had been decided to run the weekly ladies competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Friday 20 March, a decision which was welcomed.
Lady Captain, Mrs Anne welcomed everyone to prize giving and advised of a recent email from ILGU providing notification of cancelled events.
Fifteen ladies played in the 12 hole and 5 ladies played in the 9 hole stableford competitions at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 12 March.
Forty-eight ladies played in the annual season opening fun matchplay competition at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 5 March. As the second hole was closed the competition was played across 8 holes – hole 1, 3-7, 17 and 18.
The Ladies’ Branch Supper Evening took place at Co Armagh Golf Club on Thursday 30 January 2020. Hosted by the new Lady Captain, Anne McDonald the annual event returned to the Clubhouse, having been displaced in 2019 due to the clubhouse refurbishment.
There was a large turn-out for the 2020 Lady Captain Inauguration Ceremony at Co Armagh Golf Club on Wednesday 1 January.
