Lady Captain Irene Lutton held her Captain's Day on Saturday last. There was a great turn out from early on for the Coffee Morning and this set the pace for the day. Many of Irene's family and friends were there to join in the celebrations.
Over 100 ladies played for the beautiful prizes which were on display and as the weather was perfect (for a change) there was a great buzz about the clubhouse.

This week's Competition was another high scoring event. Flo McCall was in the driving seat this time with a great score of 42 points. Conditions were very good again and the course is playing well. Donna Carolan and Moya Brady were second and third respectively with 40 points each.

This week's Club Stableford Competition was very generously sponsored by Daily Bake.

72 Ladies played in very warm weather and as the course was playing very well the scores reflected this. June Humphries even managed a hole in one at the 7 th !! Karen Edgar had an excellent score of 45 points narrowly beating Aideen Canavan who had 44 points.

The Fox and Culmore Stroke Competition was sponsored by Karine & Co. this year. 66 Ladies played in lovely conditions and there was a great turnout for the prize giving in the evening.

Grace McGowan and Siobhan Donnelly were the leading ladies this week.

Seventy two ladies played in the Marie Curie Golf Classic was which again very generously sponsored by Rice's Supermarket Keady. There was a large turnout for the prizegiving and Phil Rice presented the beautiful hampers along with Lady Captain Irene. Over 70 lady members of County Armagh Golf Club turned out in inclement weather to play in the Sinton Cup competition on Thursday 29 th May. The competition was generously sponsored by McKinney Timber .

Results were as follows:

• Gross 1 st was won by B. Rice with a score of 83, narrowly beating E. Brady (Gross 2 nd ) also with 83.

• Nett 1 st _ A Canavan ( 69).

• Nett 2 nd _ Karen Edgar ( 70)
