We had 96 ladies playing in the McAnerneys Open Charity Stableford Competition this week. Again conditions were great and the weather was very warm. The Competition is very kindly sponsored by McAnerney's and Catherine presented the prizes on their behalf. Margaret Marjoram thanked Catherine for her generous sponsorship and was delighted to hear that the fundraising Coffee Morning which had taken place earlier for Newry Hospice had been very successful.
The winner of the Cup this year was Pauling Gingles with 41 points just beating Catherine Corrigan who also had 41 points.

The Armaghdale Cup was played for last Saturday in much better conditions than previous years. It was again very generously sponsored by Gerard Davidson Business Services. There was a large turnout from the Armagh ladies along with visitors from six other clubs. Mary Black was this year's winner with a fabulous net 63, Carolyn McCall took second place with net 66 and Rea Haughey was third with net 68. Frances Davidson representing the Sponsor presented the stunning jewellery prizes and Lady Captain Irene thanked her for their sponsorship and support for the ladies.

This year's Centenary Trophy sponsored by Stirling House was won by Siobhan Donnelly with a net 73. The course played harder this week with standard scratch at 74.
In second and third places were Nicola Spence and Barbara Gartland each with net 74.

Juvenile golfer Aoife Lennon has again beaten off stiff competition to win this week's competition,which was very kindly sponsored by Billy Nellins (Sports Therapist) who came and presented the prizes.

Aoife's winning score of 39 points, beat Hilary Johnston also with 39 points on the countback. Also in close contention was Rita Grimley with 38 points.
